Rooms for teaching and research, in which training courses are conducted. Teaching and research is mainly focused on sensory evaluation but they are also connected with food science and technology. Tasting rooms consist on 10/15 cabins and are designed according to UNE 87004 and thanks to careful design, allows a high level of comfort, relaxation and concentration of the panellists.
The headquarters of SensoFood Solutions are located in Orihuela, but we have access to facilities in Elche, San Juan and Altea. This multi-location allows full access to consumers from the Alicante province. Our consumer studies are performed regularly in 5 Spanish cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Seville.
A space provided for the preparation of different types of samples and conducting research on new techniques in the field of modern cuisine and sensory evaluation of foods. It is equipped with convection ovens, grills, microwave ovens, refrigerators, freezers, etc.
Rooms for selection and training of panels, conducting consumer tests;
Rooms for conducting group dynamics, for example focus groups, and
many training rooms.
We have several areas to conduct experiments on food science and technology. These laboratories consist on several spaces for the reception of samples, storage, processing, analysis, improvement and development of new products.
Analytical equipment is available to back up sensory data making possible to compare instrumental and sensory results. For example:
Gas chromatograph with a mass spectrometry detector (GC-MS).
High performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC).
Atomic absorption spectrometer.
