Descriptive tests are one of the most informative and comprehensive tools, as they include the detection and detailed description of all the sensory attributes of a product . The use of trials such as QDA or flavor profile analysis, requires a panel of judges specifically trained to the food under study. The fields of application are multiple and among others include:
